Greece-China cooperation on Cultural Heritage Conservation and Digitalization

The Greek panel consisted, among others, of National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) professor Mrs. A. Moropoulou, who presented innovative and sustainable cultural heritage management actions, Mrs. Georgia Aggelaki, consultant on digitalization of the Greek National Library, and Mr. K. Konstantinidis, CEO of PostScriptum and an active member of the largest European digital cultural library (Europeana).

High level meeting between Greece and China (May 23, 2018)

During the meeting, Greece and China signed the 2018-2020 Action Plan, aiming at the scientific and technological cooperation of the two countries.


At the ministerial level, it was agreed that science, technology and innovation are a guide for the sustainable development and cooperation of the two countries, as well as for the further deepening of their already developed cooperative strategy, which is reinforced by the Beijing initiative «One Belt - One Road».

In the framework of the “Year of Cultural Exchanges and Cooperation of Creative Industries between Greece and China”, the Secretariat General for Media and Communication and the Information Office of the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality host the photo exhibition “Greek Photographers focusing on Beijing”.
